Are you living on a low income? Do you have a business idea? Momentum’s ABCs of Small Business program can help you research and develop your business idea.

- How to research,
- Networking and resourcing,
- Goal setting and problem solving,
- Time management,
- How to plan and prioritize,
- Sales and marketing,
- Business finance essentials,
- Small business presentation skills, and
- Do a step by step series of assignments that lead to completion of a comprehensive business plan.
How much does it cost?
A registration deposit of $90 reimbursable upon submission of an approved business plan.
Do I qualify?
This program is for people who meeting one or more of the following requirements:
- Are living on a low income,
- Have a realistic business idea,
- Have not finished school,
- Have any conditions that limit employment options, or
- Have a language or cultural barrier.
How do I apply?
This program runs for 3 months and starts in January, April and September.
To apply for this program, you must first attend Momentum’s free Exploring Entrepreneurship introductory workshop.
The program fills up fast! Call 403.204.2671 to sign up for Exploring Entrepreneurship today. Once you have completed the orientation, you can fill out an application form for the ABCs of Small Business. If you qualify, you will be invited to attend the ABC's orientation session and a one on one interview.
