Business Coach
Purpose of Volunteer Role:
Business Coaches work with participants in assisting them implement their business plan, overcoming challenges in launching or expanding their business or develop additional skills required to operate a successful business.
Description of Duties:
Business Coaches will:
- Be required to participate in 1-3 training sessions before working directly with participants
- Commit to weekly, hour long coaching sessions with participants
- Work in small coaching groups with 1-4 participants
- Be required to report all coaching sessions by completing a Coaching Report
- Collaborate with the facilitator to ensure progress of participants
- Participate in quarterly volunteer coaching meetings
Business Coach must have:
- Experience operating their own successful small business for at least two years
or
- Project management experience
Length of Term:
Six month commitment
Specific Time of Day Required:
Evenings 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Time Commitment:
- One hour per week
- 3 Training sessions of 2.5 hours each
- Quarterly volunteer meetings
