Loan Review Committee

Purpose of Volunteer Role:

To assist in reviewing loan applications for the Micro Business and FundAbility Loan Programs. Reading and assessing business plans for credit purposes.

Description of Duties:

Loan Review consists of:

• Participating in biweekly meetings to assess loan applications
• Some applications will require pre-reading and notes/comments submitted back to the Loans Facilitator

Skills/Qualifications Required:

Loan Review Committee requires:

• Experience in assessing business plans for credit purposes
• Small business experience an asset
• Experience working with marginalized populations preferred
• Excellent communications skills

Length of Term:

Six month commitment

Specific Time of Day Required:

Evenings

Time Commitment:

2-3 hours biweekly
