Momentum provides up to $75000 to individuals with a disability and who are starting up their own business.

Momentum offers training in writing a business plan including ongoing business coaching, seminars, and peer support designed to ensure you have what it takes to successfully obtain financing.
The business plan will include information about how your business will run, how you will manage your business, and how you are going to promote your business.
How do I access the money?
Eligible applicants will have completed one of Momentums FREE business development courses. Once you have built a business plan and filled an application, you can qualify for the loan.*
How does it work?
A first time borrower can apply for up to $10,000. After successful repayment over 12 consecutive months, participants can apply for additional funding to a maximum of $75,000. The interest rate is calculated at Bank of Canada prime plus 2%. Loans are paid over a period of up to 60 months, with payments automatically debited from the borrower’s bank account each month.
