Trades Training Scholarship

The Trades Training Scholarship is designed to assist Individuals with tuition when an individual is registered to attend a certified trade program, for any year of training.
Who Can Apply?
Any present or past participant in a Momentum Trades Training Program may apply.
The candidate should be ‘indentured’ and working in a trade or registered in a recognized trade certification program.
The candidate should demonstrate financial need as indicated on the application form.
Attendance and marks achieved with Momentum’s trades programs may be considered.
Scholarships Available
The Trades Training Scholarship may include more than one recipient, and will be disbursed to a maximum of $700. The number of scholarship(s) will be dependent upon the number of successful applicants.

Selection Process
- Applications are due to Momentum by November 25, 2011.
- Applications will be assessed and a decision will be announced by December 3, 2011.
- Scholarship cheques will be forwarded upon contact with the successful applicant.
- Scholarship cheques may be taxable in the year they are received, and a T4 might be issued.
