Measuring Our Results
In the traditional investment world, we use Return on Investment calculations to determine our success rates.
At Momentum, we know that our impact is far greater than just the dollars and cents, so we use a model called Social Return on Investment (SROI). In 2008, the Fair Gains program was measured in a pilot project case study. Through the case study, it was determined that the five-year SROI for the Fair Gains program is 1:3. That means, for every $1 dollar put in, $3 dollars goes back to the community.
Momentum takes pride in being accountable for the successes of our programs and participants. Not only do we report back to our funders on the results but we also use that information internally to improve our programs and services.
