ABCs of Small Business

Are you living on a low income? Do you have a business idea? Momentum’s ABCs of Small Business program can help you research and develop your business idea.

Learn the skills

• Write a feasibility study,
• Write a business plan,
• Develop sales and marketing skills,
• Understand licensing and registration,
• Develop basic bookkeeping skills, and
• Understand business taxes and eligible deductions.
   

How much does it cost?

This program costs $90.
 

Do I qualify?

This program is for people who:

• Are living on a low income,
• Have a realistic business idea, and
• Face a challenge of some kind as you enter self-employment
   

How do I apply?

This program runs for 3 months and starts in January, April and September.

To apply for this program, you must first attend Momentum’s free Exploring Entrepreneurship orientation session.

The program fills up fast! Sign up for Exploring Entrepreneurship today. Once you have completed the orientation, you can fill out an application form for the ABCs of Small Business. If you qualify, you will be invited in for an interview.
