The Skills Enhancement Training Department assists the employment disadvantaged (primarily New Canadians and some Aboriginal people) to enter satisfying and well paying careers Canadian workplace.
Our programs and services
Technology Access Program
This program is aimed at existing clients of other Momentum programs. They are targeted classroom sessions or general support with technology.
Trades Training Program
This full time, six month pre-apprenticeship training program enables participants to enter careers in the areas of construction and manufacturing trades.
Immigrant Access Fund Program
Provides micro loans up to $5000.00 for internationally trained immigrants to help them work towards Canadian accreditation in order to practice their trade or profession in Canada.
