Train the Trainer

Momentum's Train the Trainer gives you the tools and training needed to integrate money management instruction into your organization's programming.

The Train the Trainer delivery includes:
1. Training
Staff from participating organizations attend a two-day training session. Throughout the training, attendees experience the curriculum and build their confidence in money management topics.

2. Curriculum
Your organization will receive rights to Momentum's five-module financial literacy curriculum. This includes the facilitators guide, participant workbooks and a resource CD.

Who is this training for?
Momentum Train the Trainer is ideal for organizations working with participants who would benefit from foundational financial literacy instruction. Common types of organizations that request training include:
- immigrant-serving organizations
- towns/municipalities
- mental health/addictions organizations

- literacy organizations
- youth-serving organizations
How is Momentum qualified to offer this training?
Momentum has been delivering financial literacy workshops for over 10 years. During this time, more than 12,000 individuals have taken a financial literacy program.
Over the years, Momentum's curriculum evolved to the point where it was professionally published and offered, along with facilitator training, to organizations across the country. To date, more than 30 organizations have received the Train the Trainer delivery.
Where do training sessions take place?
There are regularly scheduled training sessions available in Calgary. You can also arrange to have training provided at any site of your choice in Canada.
When are the next sessions offered?
The next scheduled Calgary deliveries are planned for October and November 2011. Spaces are limited. Call Brian 403.204.2676 if you are interested in attending this session.
What is included within the Train the Trainer offering?
Your organization will receive:
- Intensive two-day facilitation for your organization's staff
- Facilitation and marketing strategies tailored to your organization
- Financial literacy curriculum manuals, including facilitators' guides and participant handouts
- CD with participant handouts and other resources
How many facilitators can attend the training?
Class size is limited to 12 people in order to maintain an intimate and responsive learning environment.
How much does training cost?
