The Value of your Donation

Your donation to Momentum supports the many programs and services we offer - providing hope and opportunity to those struggling to make ends meet.

Here are some examples of the value of your donation:

• $ 150 provides business coaching to a loan recipient from our staff, helping an individual to successfully start-up and operate a small business.
• $ 200 provides ten people with 3 hours of basic computer training, allowing participants to learn essential computer skills that can help them access job opportunities online.
• $ 500 covers the cost of childcare for one participant so that they can complete a self-employment program. Without access to childcare, some individuals are not able to complete the training.
• $1,500 allows an individual to learn valuable self-employment skills through completing the ABCs of Small Business program.
• $ 5,000 provides a micro-business loan to an individual, giving them access to credit and a means to start-up a small business.
• $ 5,000 allows one woman to complete the Women's Venture Program, a nine- month part-time self-employment program designed especially for women entrepreneurs.
