Volunteers

Volunteers play a key role at Momentum and are critical to the success of our participants and the organization.

Volunteers are involved in nearly every aspect of our work - from board members, guest speakers, business coaches and tutors, to those helping us with special events.

By becoming a volunteer at Momentum, you can help participants secure stable employment, start a business, learn new skills, provide for their families, and build the confidence needed to become economically self-sufficient.

You can help someone to make a positive change in his or her life.

Help People to Help Themselves

Our participants come from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances, but all are motivated to make a change in the lives.

As a volunteer, your role is to guide, coach and mentor participants so that they can take the necessary actions to succeed in their lives. Support, encouragement, confidentiality and a non-judgmental attitude are essential ingredients in working with participants at Momentum.
